At the top of fashion they call them must have, for me they are simply the summer shoes that every woman should have in her wardrobe.
Comfortable, beautiful, versatile. I remember some time ago, to my great horror, an article in which they talked about comfortable shoes that almost out of necessity cannot be aesthetically pleasing. But why? Who says that?
Nobody can import a trend without you wanting it.
These are my essential shoes, because they solve problems on a daily basis and not because they “go out of fashion”.
1. Dancer
Whether it's round, pointed, with the strap, the appeal of this shoe is huge on me. That slightly naïve, slightly Parisian style of hers makes me dream, allowing me to combine it with different garments, with totally different personalities.
Think how the style changes from mine Sabrina, rounded, delicate, often with a strap, to mine Roma, sharper, decided, with marked femininity. Then think how much Sabrina herself, combined with a more rock outfit, totally changes personality. Frida instead she is a more whimsical dancer, her lines are not regular, they draw squiggles on your foot. If you then add the different color contrasts and textures, it is a shoe that has its say and does so in a decisive way.
In short, with your feet on the ground yes, but in full style.
2. Slingback and Chanel
A style icon like Coco Chanel has left deep traces in the history of fashion. Her point of view on fashion has revolutionized styles and trends, permanently. Her creations were designed for an active, dynamic woman, who had to be comfortable but always impeccable, in the most absolute simplicity.
The first Chanel brand shoes were introduced in the collection of 1957; let's talk about the two-tone slingback with the dark toe on a light upper, only shoe for sale while she was still alive. Its name, today, indicates not only the two-tone shoes, but the model itself. That shoe (generally) low, with an uncovered heel and a tapered toe.
Can you think of one of my models? Certainly the Clowns they fall into this category, simple and refined, with delicate or bright colors, but always extremely feminine.
The Mimo instead they are a cross between this category and the dancers: uncovered heel and straps on the foot to enrich the overall visual effect.
3. Slippers
In theory this would be their name. As a Marche region, I have always called them slippers! They can have the heel covered or not, the constant is that they are low-level shoes.
There are those who love them and those who hate them, like the dancers after all, but those who love them just can't do without them. Think of mine Pan, used every day are the true salvation of your feet.
For me they represent a valid alternative, less androgynous and more delicate, to moccasins.
4. Low sandal
Finally, inevitable companion of the summer, comes the sandal. In the new collection you will see some beautiful, colorful and specially designed for comfort but above all for the health of legs and feet. In general, in fact, a low quality low shoe can do a lot of damage.
It is enough to have a problem with the knee or the sole of the foot, wear a very low sandal for a few hours, and go home with excruciating pain, and then see the results of this problem also on the spine and even on the shoulders and neck.
All my flats have inside a foam insole, which allows the shoe to follow the shape of your sole and cushion the blows with each step.
You can find it in the Gianna, inspired by the “fraticelli”, who have kept their humble style but who acquire an incredible personality by simply changing the color of the leather.
You can also find it in the Samarita and in Fionarita, very simple sandals with whimsical colors. The foot is held firmly by the ankle strap and, in the case of the Fionarita, also by the flip flop. I use them quietly for cycling, without that annoying sensation of the foot sliding downwards.
And for those who hate the open tip? I thought of you too.
Often the shoes are born from the concrete needs of my customers, not just from my imagination. The Kary they are the ideal shoe for those who hate showing their feet in the summer but cannot resist the open shoe or perhaps suffer a lot from the heat.
Well, these are the shoes for me that I just can't do without in spring / summer. And you? What are your favorite models? Which ones should never be missing in your wardrobe?
